Environment Day Celebration 2026:

“The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.” — Genesis 2:15

True faith calls us to be good stewards of the world around us. To celebrate World Environment Day, St. John’s OCYM Thuvayoor organized a special tree-planting ceremony right here at our parish. Right after the Holy Qurbana, our Vicar, Rev. Fr. Dr. Rinju P. Koshy (VP OCYM AK Diocese, President – St. John’s OCYM Thuvayoor), led the youth in planting a new fruit sapling.

പ്രകൃതിയെ സംരക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്റെ കടമ നാം എപ്പോഴും സ്നേഹത്തോടെ ഓർക്കേണ്ടതാണ്. വിശുദ്ധ കുർബാന അനുഭവിക്കുവാൻ പള്ളിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചേർന്ന ഏവരുടെയും സാന്നിധ്യത്തിൽ നടന്ന ഈ സംരംഭം വളരെ മനോഹരമായിരുന്നു.

ഈ ഉദ്യമത്തിന് പൂർണ്ണ പിന്തുണ നൽകി ഒപ്പമുണ്ടായിരുന്ന OCYM Diocese Joint Secretaries Jerin Jacob, Anita Maria James, Central Assembly Member Ron Rajan, Kadampanad Group Organizer Alan Jose, ഒപ്പം Diocese Committee Member Roshan Parish Trustee Alex Daniel, Parish Secretary Binu Varghese എന്നിവർക്കും പ്രത്യേക നന്ദി.

Every tree planted is a prayer for the future. We thank all the faithful and the youth members who stayed back to support this green initiative.
