ABOUT US
St. John's Orthodox Church. Our home parish, built in 1918, It is the first church for the Christian community in Thuvayoor. The Church belongs to Adoor - Kadampanad Diocese of Malankara Orthodox Church, founded by St. Thomas, one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ, who came to India in A.D. 52.
Our Ancestral roots lead to Kadampanad St. Thomas Orthodox Cathedral and Nilakkal respectively. The Christian community at Nilakkal is one among the seven churches established by St. Thomas
